RnB Planet is a custom platform designed to centralize and amplify the latest in R&B culture—from artist announcements and music releases to tour updates and editorial features. Built from the ground up, the project leverages automation to pull in real-time content from multiple trusted sources, including RSS feeds, social media, and the Spotify API. The frontend experience is crafted for smooth, dynamic browsing, while the backend is engineered for scalability, modularity, and ease of content management.

Bright Thought led the full-stack development effort, integrating services like Django, HTMX, and Tailwind CSS, and hosting the platform on AWS backed by a PostgreSQL database. A robust backend service powers automated scraping, content filtering, and classification to ensure timely, relevant updates. RnB Planet is not just a music news aggregator—it’s an intelligent, evolving tool that bridges technology with culture, designed to serve as the IMDb of the R&B world.
